Memberships
Member accounts that add up
Membership classes with their own dues, billing period and credit limit. A plan names the player type it plays at and your rate card prices that type, so the tee sheet and the member’s statement can never disagree about what a round cost.
$49.43 owing, $450.57 left of a $500.00 limit. Payments land on the oldest charge first, which is the only way current/30/60/90 ever means anything. The charge from the counter is already in the history.
House accounts
Charge it, age it, bill it
Members charge rounds, carts and the bar to a house account at the till.
Charge it to a member
Every member with their number, their plan and what is already on their account. The line at the top says it exactly: “$49.43 goes on the account. Nobody pays now.” A house charge is not a payment and the till does not pretend otherwise.
A member who is over their limit or suspended is shown greyed with the reason beside them, so nobody is declined in front of a guest. One of a foursome can put just his own quarter of a split check on his account.
Standing is explicit
A suspended member still plays at the member rate but may not charge; a lapsed member does neither. The statement and the account history sit on the same screen as the balance.
Balances, aging at 30/60/90, monthly statements, and a dues run that is safe to press twice.
Golf Canada number and Handicap Index
Each member’s Golf Canada number and Handicap Index (plus handicaps too) sit on their profile. They are typed in from the golfer’s Golf Canada app, not synced from Golf Canada.
